This cottage style home was built in 1900.  It has been well maintained.  An addition added on in the 1990's was blended in such a beautiful way that the flow of the cottage style was uninterupted.

Maintenance Free front porch!
Breezeway leading to 2 1/2 car garage with large family room above.
Carport and second overhead door (could be used for motorcycle or lawn mower).  Cement slab beyond carport can be used for playing basketball or additional parking.
Deck leads to large side yard.  My boys can tell you which trees are "first, second, third bases" and "home plate".
Shed (in background) can be used to house lawn mower, outdoor furniture (in winter months) and lots of bikes, bats and balls.  There is a pet door.  The shed has built in work bench shelving, electric and lighting.
This photo was taken at the edge of our yard.  The entire property is .875 of an acre.

Main Level Living and Dining Room

The natural woodwork in this room is what really makes it stand out.  The pictures do not do it "justice".  The paint in this room is called "colonial cobblestone" - it has richer tones in person.  All of the house except for 2 rooms have been repainted in mostly neutral tones and many stripped of wallpaper within the past 4 years.

"Bonus" family room over the garage (27x27)

This large family room over the garage is attached to the house.  (You do not have to go outside to get to it.)  In the 1990's an addition was put on the original house.  The addition has a coat room, breezeway, 3/4 bathroom (with walk in shower) and main level laundry all connecting the original home to the garage and second stairway to the family room.  This family room has been a real blessing to our family.  We can host large groups for meals (20 +) and other entertaining purposes.  Our 4 children love having their playroom up there.  Also, as a homeschooling family, we have been able to put all of the children's desks in the room - all without looking "over crowded".
